Life, Love, and Limitless Possibilities!

Life seems to be flying by! There is so much going on around us, I decided to take May to reset.

In April my sister, Kim, and I drove to New Orleans and met Meghan, Wolf, Camryn, and Rory (they flew in). 3 nights, so much fun - food, beverages, music, art work. Of course, 8 days before our trip, I broke my toe, and 3 days after breaking pinky toe on my right foot I had an event. Never a dull moment!

Destini and Alex brought home 3 new chicks to add to our flock - they are growing like weeds and each one is different. Their names are Arepa, Pesto, and Taco and they are attempting flight, won't be long now!

Our cat, Honey, we've had for 12 years, we had to put down. She got sick, barely was eating, and without running a bunch of expensive diagnostics we just couldn't find the issue. She lost more than half her body weight, and we made the difficult decision.

Destini graduates June 2nd. Spring concert for band and color guard is May 20th. They are planning their road trip and leave June 4th.

Edwin is having another brain surgery May 20th. I am not saying this off the cuff. This year has been very difficult for him. The deficits he demonstrates from the other surgeries he's had this year are far more extreme than when he was younger. To be a part of his life and watch him go through this may be the hardest thing I've ever witnessed. To hold his mom's hand, the tears, the prayers, loving him, his mom, and his sister through this - it takes a toll on your heart and spirit.

Meghan and Wolf decided to go house hunting, found a house, close in 2 days - in NORTH CAROLINA!!! We are so excited, a bit sad, but it's not another continent or even a different time zone. This is how we Life. We raise them to leave, fly the coop, explore, adventure! I love my babies, but will NEVER hold them back and will always encourage the adventure!

Natasha - my constant the past 4 years. We are planning a trip to Alaska in mid July. I'm working on the route we'll be taking, have been squirreling away food, and there's a beautiful new baby in Alaska that needs to meet Auntie Sandee!

As you can see, slow down doesn't quite work around here! We are going to help M & W move in June, so definitely keeping on our toes!
