We drove through the Badlands. Wow. Just wow. Not our 1st trip, but it just wows me all the same.
We saw Bighorn Sheep. Prairie dogs galore. And, deer.
We went to the Grasslands Visitor Center in Wall, SD - with 19 Grassland parks, this is the ONLY visitor center.
When we left SD, we drove through about 5 minutes of Wyoming, before entering Montana.
Found a little out of the way, roadside picnic table, down a little hill beside the highway, under trees spot. Lunch and a nap - God always provides what we need when we need it!
A UHaul drive past me, kicked up a rock and cracked my windshield. As I watched the crack in front of my face progress, I freaked out, visions of glass shattering and hitting my face - yes, I know this is unrealistic, I pulled over and called Steve. Can I drive like this? He laughs. What should I do? Call Safelite he says. Ugghhhh...
We arrive at a campground in Billings, MT, I put laundry to wash, then said screw it, let's order dinner. Roadhouse in a storm, relaxing and doing laundry was just what I needed.
Alex and I try to watch a movie with my HULU account - too many commercials. I fall asleep. Sorry son, this mama is drained!
Wake up, spent an hour making reservations in Missoula with Safelite - only reservation before Monday on our path.
Determined to have a good day.
Put air in tire, find tire shop, am currently having tire repaired.
Looking for coffee after this. God will provide and guide and put us right where He wants us.
Starbucks on the horizon. Maybe some chocolate. Thankful for Staley's Tire shop. The guy was impressed with the miles on Natasha.
CrazyLady off on a (hopefully) less adventurous day!
