🚦 Ready. Set. Go.
So, do we go to the beginning? I think not. I'm going to begin with my 48th State - VERMONT! Beautiful. Breathtaking scenery, great food! We are going to start there, because that will explain this year.
In October 2018, my sister-in-law and I flew to Boston, picked up my nephew, Matthew and his then partner, John, and road tripped to Vermont - 48 states at age 48! I fell in love. The weather was PERFECT. Cheese on every dish. Coffee everywhere (2 of my favorite things). We stayed in a wonderful Airbnb in Sheffield, owned by Stephanie and Marc - a converted barn, 2 stories, wood pellet burning stove. They had donkeys, and ducks, just a picturesque setting. We toured every inch of Vermont - Church Street Market Place in Burlington, Ben & Jerry's Factory, Shelburne Farms, and Prohibition Pig in Waterbury Village was excellent barbecue.
One of the best ways to get to know an area is local food. Ask locals where they go - they have never steered me wrong!

Beautiful people, beautiful state!
